Cromaris, that belongs to the Croatian diversified conglomerate Adris Grupa d.d., has informed about a 26% growth in volume sales and a 29% growth in exports during the first quarter of 2022.
In more detail, volume sales amounted to 3,160 tonnes of whole fish equivalent which is 20% higher than in the first three months of last year.
Export volumes were up 24%, mainly due to strong growth in the Italian and Spanish markets. To sum up. export markets continue to account for a high portion of Cromaris' sales – 91% of sales volume, and 92% of sales revenues.
Greater amberjack and common dentex are the species that have grown the most for sale. It accounted for 36% of the company's revenues in the same period.
Finally, the company has reported revenues from sales amounted to HRK 157 million representing an increase of 25%. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) amounted to HRK 24 million which is up 6%.
According to a statement, Cromaris will focus this year on the implementation of business excellence models in two key areas; market business and operations.
