Professionals of the seafood sector around the world met in Boston from the 12th to the 14th of March to discover, share and learn at the Seafood Expo North America in Boston (U.S.) In the 2023 edition, there are more than 1,141 exhibiting companies from 49 different countries, including new ones such as Bahrain, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, and Papua New Guinea. Furthermore, the presence of countries such as Canada, China, Ecuador, Spain, Iceland, and India have increased.
SENA'23 has been a success. Many people from all over the world have joined in Massachusetts's capital to have a global overview of the seafood industry, We Are Aquaculture was also there. For our co-workers, SENA'23 was a great experience in the 1790 stand.
The exhibition floor showed a positive and comfortable environment. Getting back to normal made a difference at this year's exhibition, taking a concern away from the attendees. Also this year the expo hall has been packed with seafood and processing companies. It provides a wide variety of fresh, frozen, canned, value-added, processed, and packaged products. The Expo has market-leading processing and packaging equipment, as well as logistics and other service suppliers.
Moreover, the conferences are a key part of the event and had more than 50 professionals and expert speakers that conducted talks about diverse areas. From aquaculture to traceability and transparency, there were huge trending topics for the audience.
For instance, different prizes have been awarded to enhance the attendees' experience. The main idea was to improve their knowledge of the products in a new and entertaining form.
Another innovation is the new "Empowerment Lounge," which provides content to help participants with their social media presence and career development.
Lastly, a large number of chef demonstrations teaching different products and recipes and the popular oyster shucking contest. A wide variety of activities in which all attendees may have found their place.
