Barramundi officially announced the appointment of Vanessa Tan as the new CFO of the group, replacing Helen Chown, who resigned. The new role of Tan took effect yesterday. This recent appointment adds to a series of rapid changes within the board of directors, highlighting the challenging situation.

The company explained that Tan joined Barramundi Group in July 2020. Before her new role, Tan has been the group's Head of Finance, focusing on supporting business development, due diligence, and IPO-related activities.

Tan holds a degree in Accounting from Nanyang Technological University and is a Chartered Accountant at ISCA, although she has many other accomplishments and experience behind her. She has spanned various functions, industries, and geographies, not limited to external audits, IT audits, and data analytics.

In total, she has over eight years of experience in audit and assurance, with the most senior position held before joining the company being at Deloitte & Touche LLP.

The company closed the release by thanking both for their contribution to the company. "We take this opportunity to thank Helen and Jessie for their stellar service with Barramundi Group."
