AquaFuture Spain will return for its third edition this May in Vigo, Galicia, and has reached an important milestone, having reached 200 exhibitors registered for this year's expo.

Described as the "largest aquaculture industry event in the south of Europe", the conference and expo was previously held in Santiago de Compostela, but due to increased demand, the organisers decided to shift this year's event to a larger venue, the FEFI – VIGO exhibition centre, in the important Spanish seafood and fishing industry hub of Vigo.

The event's roster of exhibitors have grown by 33% for this year's edition, exceeding initial expectations, according to the organisers, who also predict the event will also attract more than 8,000 visitors, marking a fourfold increase compared with the first edition held in 2022.

The aquaculture industry event, which comprises a trade fair with conference programme, will also feature more than 80 international speakers and include side events focusing on knowledge sharing and innovation, and is supported by institutional sponsors including Spanish bank Abanca and regional government, the Xunta de Galicia.
