The board of directors of Ice Fish Farm AS intends that the new name of the company, Kaldvík AS, will be approved at the next annual general meeting on 20 June 2024.
Therefore, the land-based salmon farming company will be trading under a new name and a new ticker. However, Ice Fish Farm is already trading its shares under the ticker "KLDVK" on Nasdaq First North Iceland before the general meeting.
During the first quarter of 2024, Ice Fish Farm reported a revenue increase, reaching NOK 358 million, up from NOK 37 million in the same quarter of the previous year.
Also, its operating EBIT before the fair value adjustment of biomass experienced an increase to NOK 28.2 million, from negative NOK 0.3 million.
Finally, the harvested volume for Q1 2024 was 3,986 tonnes, compared to no harvest in Q1 2023 and 4,395 tonnes for the whole year 2023.
As already announced in September, Ice Fish Farm carries out a listing of the Company's shares on Nasdaq First North Iceland (the "Dual Listing"), which is in addition to the existing listing on Euronext Growth Oslo.
Next week, from June 4-6, Reykjavik will host 'The Future of the Ocean and Aquaculture in Iceland & Capital Markets Day'. Ice Fish Farm will attend the corporate finance session along with representatives from Arnarlax, and Arctic Fish on behalf of Icelandic ocean aquaculture companies.
