The Naval and Marine Technology Center (CTN) and the company specializing in sustainable aquaculture management, OCNARK Group PTY LTD (OCNARK), have signed a collaboration agreement to develop R&D and innovation projects focused on the Mediterranean area and the APAC region (Asia, Australia, and the Pacific).

These projects aim to transfer technology and boost the internationalization and marketing of technological services and products, effectively connecting ecosystems across Europe.

Specifically, OCNARK will act as a strategic partner and official collaborator in the region, while the dissemination of its services and products will be promoted in Europe—particularly in Spain—with CTN playing a similar role.

"This effort is aimed at maximizing the impact of our technological capabilities in various markets, given CTN's extensive experience in the development, coordination, and execution of European projects," said CTN's Director, Noelia Ortega.

The agreement was signed at the exhibition space of the Spanish Technology Platform for Fisheries and Aquaculture (PTEPA), during Aquaculture Europe 2025, held last week in Valencia, Spain.

"What excites us most about this collaboration is the opportunity to put advanced technology in the hands of those who need it most — from farmers on the ground to the researchers and students working on the next wave of solutions," said Edward Capapas, Director of the Australian company, during the signing of the agreement.
