Blue Star Foods Corp. has partnered with LowTide, LLC., through a vendor agreement, to expand its portfolio developing and nationwide distributing the brand lines: Wicked Tuna Seafood and Toby Keith’s Premium.
Therefore, both companies will deliver gourmet products that respond to the growing demand for high-quality and sustainably sourced products. This synergy leverages Blue Star Foods' experience in seafood production and distribution, and LowTide LLC's expertise in creating unique culinary experiences.
Regarding this initiative, the CEO of Blue Star Foods John Keeler expressed: "We are thrilled to join forces with LowTide LLC, which shares our commitment to sustainability, quality, and innovation. Blue Star Foods announced in late June that it has been granted an extension renewal for the land-based aquaculture license till 2033 which encompasses Taste of BC Aquafarms located in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada.
The aquaculture license covers white sturgeon, coho salmon, chinook salmon, and rainbow trout and gives the authority to carry out aquaculture activities including fish cultivation and harvest.
In April, the company signed an agreement with Eagle Rising Food Solutions to provide 'Meal Kit Solutions' to the U.S. Military. These food solutions will be distributed under the renowned Eagle Rising Brand, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).
