Seafood Nutrition Partnership
Seafood Nutrition Partnership (SNP) is proud to announce the appointment of Bill DiMento as a new member of its Board of Directors, continuing its commitment to a “healthier” America through seafood-based nutrition.
Already in February, SNP announced the appointment of a new Chair and a new Vice Chair to its Board of Directors, renewing the leadership of its top management.
DiMento, who serves as Corporate Vice President of Sustainability and Government Affairs at High Liner Foods, has more than 35 years of leadership in sustainability and regulatory affairs within the seafood industry.
During his years of leadership at the Canadian company, it has expanded its portfolio of certified sustainable products, reduced source packaging and food waste, and decreased energy and water use across the entire organization.
"With decades of experience across the seafood industry, Bill brings a depth of insight and leadership that will further strengthen the Board and advance our mission," said Chairman of the Board Jason Driskill.
Moreover, DiMento has served as Director of International Food Safety and Regulatory Affairs; Senior Director of Manufacturing and Regulatory Affairs; and Vice President of Quality Assurance, Sustainability, and Government Affairs.
Regarding this opportunity, he said: "SNP plays a critical role in advancing public health and strengthening the future of the seafood industry. I am honored to join the Board and support this important mission."
