He also adds, "Today, with great enthusiasm, I am putting all my energy into this new chapter, intending to be an asset to Blumar and continuing to contribute to the development of the salmon farming sector."
In recent years, Blumar has been making a significant effort to stand out for its sustainable practices. According to the Corporate Sustainability Assessment, it is the top-performing fishing company in Chile and the second-best-performing salmon producer.
Also, it implements policies to promote salmon consumption across the country. For example, in collaboration with DeliBest Chile and the National Board of School Assistance and Scholarships (Junaeb), Blumar delivered salmon portions to the children of the Bernardo de Bruyne School in Río Verde.
