Automated fish processing systems provider Optimar has appointed Gudjon Ingi Gudjonsson as the new Sales Manager, thereby strengthening its sales team.
Gudjonsson's professional career has focused on the fishing and seafood sectors. He has specialized in selling advanced, high-tech machinery to customers worldwide, and more recently has worked with wastewater treatment solutions in aquaculture.

At the beginning of 2025, Optimar appointed Jannicke Valderhaug as its new Chief Commercial Officer, who had led the company’s Marketing department since 2020, as part of its strategy to strengthen the organization.
