AquaGen Scotland appoints Keith Drynan

AquaGen Scotland has appointed Keith Drynan, aged 50, as its new Managing Director, effective from May 1st, 2023. Keith Drynan brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked in the aquaculture industry in Scotland and abroad for several decades, including holding senior leadership positions in companies such as BioMar, Troutlodge and Landcatch Natural Selection.

In his new role, Keith will be responsible for all commercial activities of AquaGen in Scotland as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring that the company continues to deliver high-quality salmon eggs with the AquaGen-genetics based on more than 50-years of breeding. With a strong commitment to aquaculture, being customer oriented in combination with a business mindset and a proven track record, Keith is well-positioned to contribute to the company achieve its long-term goals.
