A few hours ago, the software company Maritech announced that it had signed an agreement during the Seafood Expo Global in Barcelona with the Icelandic company Matorka.
This agreement, however, becomes natural between the two companies. Maritech explained in the press release that Matorka will now implement their cloud software Maritech Purchase & Sales in combination with Maritech Packing, integrated with dk Business Solutions. This complex software is based on a cloud-based business system that handles sales, imports, and exports as well as other accounting tasks such as inventory management, invoicing, and claims. A breakthrough that guarantees a technological model suited to current trends and challenges.

Matorka is an Icelandic company engaged in sustainable aquaculture of Artic charr and salmon trout for global markets. With a year-round harvest, Matorka is capable of producing almost 2 million portions of delectable seafood annually. Therefore, one of their characteristics is their aquaculture method which is based on the use of geothermal energy. Thanks to this system they can provide constant water temperature in their farm and 200,000-year-old lava beds to naturally filter the water in the tanks.
