Proximar's board of directors, in line with the authorization granted at the annual general meeting on January 3, 2024, has decided to conduct a Subsequent Offering to raise another NOK 25 million ($2.5 million).

It will issue a minimum of 1 new share and a maximum of 12,500 million new shares, each with a nominal value of NOK 0.10 and a subscription price of NOK 2.00.

The subscription period in the Subsequent Offering will run from 30 January 2024 to 6 February 2024.

In December 2023, the company raised an extra NOK 140 million through a private placement, to cover additional costs associated with the construction of its land-based salmon farm in Japan.

Previously, Proximar said in its Q3 report that it would be seeking an additional NOK 165 million (approximately USD 15.9m / EUR 14.5m) over the coming period.

Finally, it is also investigating a possible listing or dual listing in Japan on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
