Horace has an extensive and impressive resume, which took off after earning his bachelor's degree, law degree, and MBA from Harvard University.
His journey with Red Lobster began nearly 10 years ago when Dawson held the Executive Vice President and General Counsel. During these crucial years, Horace has been leading legal affairs, communications, risk management, and government relations of Red Lobster – tasks of utmost importance that have added incredible experience to his already impressive credentials.
However, his portfolio extends far beyond that, with 30 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Red Lobster wasn't his first rodeo. Among his professional experience, Dawson served as Vice President and General Counsel of Darden Restaurants, Inc.'s division, as well as Vice President of Business Affairs and General Counsel for Hard Rock Cafe International.
Furthermore, he has not only been involved in the restaurant industry but also worked in entertainment, securities, corporate, and communications for the Spanish-language television network Telemundo and law firms in New York City. These professional roles are complemented by his private practice, where he handled corporate and securities matters at Akerman LLP.
With such a broad resume and experience spanning various vital aspects of the industry, Horace brings a unique vision and knowledge to the table.

In addition, the company's statement also included news of Paul Kenny's appointment as Chairman of the Board of Red Lobster. Over 50 years of experience in the food industry, including prominent roles such as CEO and Executive Advisor of Minor Food Group or Director of the Board of Minor International.
