The 13th edition of Aquishow Brasil, under the theme From Production to Consumption, is taking place from May 21 to 23 at the Advanced Research and Development Center for Inland Fisheries of the Fisheries Institute, in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo.

Aquishow Brasil is one of the main aquaculture events in the country and Latin America, integrating segments of the production chain. The event facilitates the presentation of the major trends and innovations in aquaculture with debates and business generation.

In a complex of more than six thousand square meters of constructed area, Aquishow 2024 is bringing together the main brands in the sector and over seven thousand visitors from different Brazilian regions and abroad. According to the organizers, the last edition generated more than R$ 160 million. Aquishow 2024 intends to generate R$ 200 million.

Attendees are having access to discussion panels, meeting rooms, and a food court. Additionally, exhibitors can use five-thousand-square-meter reservoir with net tanks and a showroom, over one hectare, with three types of ponds: excavated, lined, and earthen, which are part of the Fisheries Institute’s structure.

The main focus of Aquishow Brasil is tilapia farming but Marilsa Fernandes, creator and organizer of the event, keeps an eye on other species: "To strengthen a 360-degree view of the socioeconomic development of the sector, we include other production chains such as frogs, alligators, mollusks, and native fish."

  • Academia (universities and research institutes)

  • Production (fish farming)
