February is shaping up to be a busy month for the aquaculture industry, filled with events that promise to bring together leading experts, innovators, and investors from around the globe.

Kicking off with the recent SIMEC Aquafish 2024 in Riyadh, a range of other gatherings are coming up before the end of February, providing platforms for professionals to exchange knowledge, explore new technologies, and foster sustainable practices.

Aquafarm, Pordenone, Italy (14-15 Feb)

Pordenone Exhibition Centre will host this year's Aquafarm, an international conference and trade show focusing on aquaculture, shellfish farming, algaculture, and the fishing industry.

With more than 3,300 visitors from over 35 countries, and 130 exhibitors, 35% of whom are foreign-based, AquaFarm is the premier meeting place for professionals in the Euro-Mediterranean area dedicated to sustainable aquaculture.

Aquaculture America, San Antonio, Texas (18-21 Feb)

This key U.S. aquaculture conference and expo, the largest of its kind in the Western Hemisphere, features nearly 200 booths showcasing the latest products and services for the industry. It's an indispensable event for aquaculturists aiming to stay ahead in the field.

Ocean Innovation Africa Summit (20-22 Feb)

Cape Town's V&A Waterfront is the setting for the 5th Ocean Innovation Africa Summit, a platform highlighting African ocean-impact initiatives and international changemakers.

The summit fosters the growth of an equitable and sustainable ocean economy in Africa, attracting innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, and policymakers.

The event includes a pitch competition for ocean-impact startups to present their projects to an international audience.

Fish International - Germany's Fish Fair, Bremen, Germany (25-27 Feb)
