SIMONA Stadpipe has agreed with Eyvi to supply a complete piping package for the entire water distribution and fish transport at the Arctic Seafarm facility at Langsetvågen, in Nesna, Norway.

In October 2024, Kvarøy Arctic Seafarm, in collaboration with Total Betong and Eyvi, announced the construction of a land-based flow-through facility with immediate proximity to the sea and a well-established infrastructure.

The SIMONA Group specializes in the manufacturing and supply of high-resistance piping solutions. Together with Eyvi, they have worked on the planning and installation.

"For us, this is a confirmation that the work all of us at SIMONA Stadpipe put in every day is yielding results. We thank Eyvi for once again choosing us as a partner for the piping system, and we look forward to building a forward-looking facility together with the other stakeholders in the project," said Nils-Per Sjåstad, General Manager of SIMONA Stadpipe.

Additionally, the Project Manager at Eyvi, Vegard Wigstøl, stated: "We have collaborated on previous projects such as the land-based fish farming facility for Hima in Rjukan, and we are very satisfied with SIMONA Stadpipe. The most important thing for us is to maintain good fish welfare throughout the process, and for that, we need high-quality and reliable deliveries."

When the first phase of the Arctic Seafarm facility is completed, it is expected to produce up to 10,000 tons of fish annually and employ 40 people.
