Cflow to deliver modular RAS unit in Chile

Norwegian aquaculture technology supplier, Cflow, has signed, through its Chilean subsidiary, a new contract to deliver a modular RAS unit in the South American country.

This advanced technology uses mechanical and biological filtration, degassing, and temperature control, along with a vacuum degasser, to efficiently remove CO₂ and other gases. In addition, thanks to the C‑Evolution platform, producers will receive clear information and reliable control over daily operations at all times.

"This project is being developed together with our local engineering team at Cflow Chile. Their local expertise, combined with our experience from Norway, has been crucial in creating a solution that suits real-world conditions and respects the biological dynamics the system is based on," reads a LinkedIn post.

Cflow also offers its services in Asia, specifically in Japan. In August 2025, it signed a contract with Pure Salmon Technology to deliver its complete system for the new land-based facility currently under construction in the country.

Furthermore, it secured a significant contract with Salmon Evolution for its Phase 2 expansion in 2024. The project aims to help the land-based aquaculture company increase its production by 10,100 tonnes of head-on-gutted (HOG) salmon, raising the facility’s total annual capacity to 18,000 tonnes.

Cflow designs and builds complete solutions to ensure high fish welfare and quality in fisheries and aquaculture. The technology is based on biological principles. The company works closely with clients and partners and guides every stage of the project.
