Aquaculture sensor expert Sensor Globe announced the appointment of Kjetil Rosvold as the company's new Sales Manager. Described by the company as a "big gun," the executive has solid experience in the aquaculture industry, with previous positions at Fishency Innovation and NORBIT Aqua.

According to the release announcing his hiring, Rosvold joins the company with the responsibility of strengthening Sensor Globe's position in the aquaculture industry and developing new market opportunities.

"I am proud and motivated to be joining Sensor Globe as the new Sales Manager. The company has been in the industry for over 5 years and has increased both its customer and lead base every year. I look forward to helping accelerate their market share," Kjetil Rosvold stated about the challenge he will face in his new position.

The company, which delivers specialized sensors and services for risk- and crowding operations to customers throughout Norway and internationally, has offices in Nova Scotia, Canada, and also in Oslo and Stavanger, Norway, a country that, the release said, is currently "in an exciting growth phase," making this appointment strategically important.

"Sensor Globe is delighted to welcome Kjetil to the team. Our main market at this stage is Norway, and we are now well positioned to seize the great opportunities that lie ahead," said Sheamus MacDonald, Sensor Globe CEO, commenting on the appointment.

In its release, the aquaculture sensor expert highlighted that Kjetil Rosvold, who took up his post this week, arrives just in time for "an exciting Aqua Nor."

The seafood industry's leading meeting on technology, innovation, and sustainability, which will be held next week - August 19-22 - in Trondheim, is the showcase chosen by companies to present their new hires, as in this case; new companies resulting from recent mergers, as in the case of OptoScale and Optimeering Aqua; and, of course, new products.

Thus, Sebastian Gjertsen, Head of Product at Sensor Globe, said the company is particularly eager to have its new hire on board for the Aqua Nor launch of its Crowding Companion product.

"We had over 100 strong applicants for the position, and Kjetil stood out immediately. He brings with him valuable experience and a strong network in the aquaculture industry. We are confident that he will help take the company and the sales organisation to a new level," Gjertsen claimed.

Designed to document key welfare indicators during critical crowding processes, Crowding Companion is Sensor Globe's new product to be launched at Aqua Nor.
