In early April, Nomad Foods Limited announced its plans to strengthen its leadership structure with the appointment of two new Presidents, one for Southern Europe and one for Central Europe. The first of these, Jon Fernández de Barrena, assumed his new role a few days later, on April 13. The second, Dior Decupper, was announced yesterday as President for Central Europe at the frozen food company.
Like Fernández de Barrena and before him also Simon Ball, who was appointed President of UK & Ireland, effective 23 March 2026, Decupper will also join the company's executive team and report to Chief Executive Officer, Dominic Brisby, who, some months ago, took over from former CEO Stéfan Descheemaeker, after the latter retired.
In the release announcing her appointment, Noma Foods highlighted that its new President for Southern Europe brings extensive experience in commercial management and general management, with a solid track record in generating growth, building customer relationships and promoting disciplined execution in complex and multinational environments.
Although her most recent position has not been in the sector—she was General Manager Cluster DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) & CEO of Reemtsma GmbH at the tobacco company Imperial Brands—her previous experience includes significant roles in the food industry, such as CEO of Meatless Farm, a UK founded Venture Capital scale-up manufacturing and commercializing plant-based meat alternatives, or Cluster Managing Director for the Netherlands, France, and Belgium of Flora Food Group (formerly Upfield) the largest plant-based consumer packaged goods company globally.
"I am delighted to welcome Dior to Nomad Foods and to my Executive Team," CEO Dominic Brisby commented. "Dior brings a wealth of commercial expertise and regional leadership experience that will be instrumental as we continue to unlock the full potential of our Central Europe markets," he continued.
"The appointment further strengthens our ability to execute with pace and precision, closer to our consumers and customers, and ultimately driving sustainable growth for our business," the Chief Executive Officer of Europe's leading frozen food company added.
In her new role as President for Central Europe, Dior Decupper will be responsible for leading Nomad Foods' commercial operations across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway, encompassing the company's iconic brands, including iglo and Findus.
According to Nomad Foods' statement, in this position, Decupper will focus on sharpening commercial execution, strengthening local market performance and advancing the frozen food company's strategic priorities across the region.
