With experience in aquaculture and engineering, Aquiles Gallardo joins ReelData as a contractor for the Chilean aquaculture industry.

ReelData takes a step forward in its international expansion and brings on board a Chilean contractor to support it in its search for new clients in the South American country. A long-time employee in the aquaculture industry and resident of Puerto Montt - a city known for being the 'capital' of the sector in Chile - Aquiles Gallardo started his path with the Canadian AI specialist yesterday, August 1, 2024.

"We've had lots of communication with Chilean companies and there's a lot of excitement about our technology. By bringing Aquiles on board, Chilean customers of ReelData will have a reputed and respected local resource on which they can rely."
Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from the Universidad Austral de Chile, and with extensive experience in both that field and aquaculture, Gallardo - who will work alongside the ReelData team while studying to complete an MBA at the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez - will bring to his new position what the company has defined as "a unique skillset that bridges the gap between AI technology and Aquaculture application."
To his academic background, Aquiles Gallardo adds significant experience in the aquaculture industry as a project manager, including projects of Feeding, Photoperiod, and R&D for new technologies. In addition, has worked across both freshwater and seawater stages of the lifecycle.
Moreover, ReelData's new contractor for Chile has commercial experience in engineering and maintenance in the telecommunications industry where he worked before starting his career in aquaculture, which will also bring value to the AI specialist and its customers in the future.
