Billund Aquaculture has announced the hiring of Kristoffer Lund as its new Group CEO in Denmark. Previously, he was the Group Technical Director of Vestas Aircoil.
According to a statement released by the specialist in recirculating fish farms, Lund has experience in organizational transformation and developing project portfolio tools, product models, and systematic follow-up.
Regarding his hiring, the new CEO expressed: "I am thrilled to get this unique opportunity to be a part of a company that is the global leader in the competitive RAS market. I'm excited to be part of this successful team and to contribute to taking the company to the next level."
On the other hand, the current CEO Christian Sørensen will stay in the company occupying an advisory role to discuss subjects about design, technological development, and project implementation.
"This new structure is a very important step towards securing the management team our company needs to meet its future development needs, focusing heavily on structure, technology development, and a strong control over project implementation," he indicated.
