The Aquaculture sector is divided into many shapes, forms, and types of production, some are Species dependent, some are more general. But something we can find in Aquaculture in any of its configurations is innovation and an aim for improvement. In recent years we have seen seaweed farming flourish and thrive. And the universalization of knowledge is a key factor in Science and for any industry. This is why today we present you with the Seagriculture Europe 2022 conference. The conference has taken place annually since 2012. After two years on an online format due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, we are happy to announce it is coming back to a physical venue.
This conference, organized by DLG Benelux in partnership with the Bremerhavener Gesellschaft für Investitionsförderung and the Alfred Wegener Institute. Will take place at the Atlantic Hotel Sail City in Bremerhaven, Germany on June 29th-30th. Seagriculture brings together industry-leading speakers with the intention of sharing their expertise and knowledge within the Seaweed industry. The Seagriculture conference is Europe's largest seaweed conference and has built up a solid reputation as one of the most important events within the industry.
Seaweed has many applications and purposes, such as feed, food, biofuel, and a lot more. The two days of the conference will verse in these different applications in a conference set-up. Seagriculture EU 2022 will have a trade show for organizations to showcase their products, services, and research. In previous editions, the event has had over 180 participants from more than 27 countries. It is likely it will continue having successful results.
