Cooke has announced that Johan Brouwer has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Morubel and Executive Sales Leader of Frozen Sales for Cooke Europe. Brouwer will be responsible for overseeing all commercial operations, sales, and marketing.

The Cooke family of companies has diversified its operations in Europe, including Bioriginal Europe/Asia B.V. in the Netherlands, Morubel, etc. The goal is to "carefully cultivate the ocean, nourish the world, sustain our families, and build stronger communities."
