Eli Amar is the new CEO of AquaMaof
After more than 13 years in the role of CEO, Hazut will now, like Amar, lead the company's strategy from their new positions in a different way.
Eli Amar, the incoming CEO, has served as the Vice President of Strategy and Finance at AquaMaof for the past four years. However, he brings over 15 years of experience in corporate development and mergers and acquisitions.
Among the names in his portfolio is Adama Agriculture Solutions, where he played a key role in multiple high-profile transactions, including the USD 3.7 billion (EUR 3.5 billion) merger with ChemChina. He also worked in investment banking at Bear Stearns & Co. in New York, where he was involved in several crucial merger and acquisition deals on Wall Street.
This profile undoubtedly ensures that Hazu's excellent work at the company will continue over the years, as during his tenure, AquaMaof established its position as a global leader in RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) technology. These years saw the company successfully collaborate on various projects with industry-leading companies from North America through Europe to Asia.
