Avramar has announced the appointment of Eugenio Meschini as the new CEO Group. Therefore, Meschini will be replacing Thor Talseth, who will assume an advisory role on the Board.

The Group has published through a statement that Meschini brings "a wealth of experience with a proven track record working with AMERRA Capital Management LLC and Cargill."

Also, AVRAMAR thanked Thor Talseth, "who led our business through challenging times and managed to establish some important initiatives that will strengthen the business moving forward."

Managing Director at AMERRA

Before, Eugenio Meschini was a Managing Director at AMERRA. He led a team of agribusiness investment professionals and worked closely with the CIO, CRO, and in-house legal team to originate, structure, and support AMERRA’s portfolio of private credit across the Americas and private equity investments in Europe.

Also, Meschini worked in the Food & Agribusiness sector having spent over 22 years at Cargill. He worked in different business units including Trade and Structured Finance, Risk Management, Environmental Finance, and Black River Asset Management.

Finally, he is a member of the Board at portfolio company Avramar with operations in Greece and Spain.
