The Zalmhuys Group has announced through its LinkedIn profile that it will acquire a minority stake in the processing and sales activities of Anova Seafood. Both companies are located in the Netherlands.
The Group provides fresh, frozen, and smoked salmon from Urk - a municipality in the province of Flevoland - to retail, food service, and wholesalers. On the other hand, Hertogenbosch-based Anova Seafood processes and distributes fresh and chilled seafood, primarily whitefish such as Cod/Saithe, Lake Victoria Perch, Pangasius, and Catfish.
Regarding this announcement, the CEO of the Zalmhuys Group, Harm ten Napel, said: "Adding Anova's experience and product portfolio to our current business sees a lot of potential and will further strengthen our position in the seafood industry."

The Zalmhuys Group has confirmed that it will attend the upcoming Seafood Expo Global held in Barcelona from the 23rd until the 25th of April.
