Frøy Kapital acquires thousands of shares in Måsøval

Frøy Kapital has acquired 4,761,904 shares in Måsøval AS, the companies announced on Friday.

Måsøval informed through a press release that the CEO of Frøy Kapital AS, Roger Granheim, is a board member and a primary insider of Måsøval AS.

After this transaction, Frøy Kapital and its parent company, Gåsø Næringsutvikling, own 6,117,036 shares in Måsøval. According to the Norwegian fish farming company, this is 4.99% of outstanding shares.

Just before the end of the year, Måsøval announced that it had reached an agreement with Frøya Laks for the operation of 2,433 tons of MTB (maximum permitted biomass).

Frøya Laks is a collaboration between Helge Gåsø's company, Frøy Kapital, and BEWI Invest, owned by the Bekken family. The companies bought a total of 2,433 tons of MTB in production area 6 at the state auction in 2022.

Located in central Norway, in the region west of Trondheim, Måsøval is an integrated producer of Atlantic salmon with more than 50 years of operational experience that has significant sea farming and in-house smolt production operations. 

Finally, Måsøval alerted this information is subject to the disclosure requirements according to MAR article 19 and section 5-12 of the Norwegian Securities Trading Act.
