Newly formed shellfish giant Atlantic Sustainable Catch has named board director and partner Jordan Mazzetta its new chief executive officer. He has been in the company since October 2021. Mazzetta has many years of experience in the seafood industry.

Firstly, he belongs to one of the largest suppliers of shrimp in the United States: Mazzetta Company. He spent 14 years in the family company as executive vice president. Further, he occupied executive roles at several companies and founded or co-founded Gloucester Seafood Processing and Beach Point Processing.

Atlantic Sustainable Catch was formed following the acquisition of scallop giant Northern Wind by US private equity firm ACON Investments. Canadian suppliers Suncoast Seafood Inc. and Raymond O’Neill & Son Fisheries Ltd combined this.
