Nordic Aquafarms will diversify its operations. So, the European side will focus on raising yellowtail kingfish, while the US business will continue dealing with farming salmon. The investment for yellowtail production reaches €15.8 million (NOK 150/$17.2 million).

The two land-based salmon facilities in the United States will continue under the original company name: Nordic Aquafarms Group. On the other side, the newly established company Nordic Aquafarms Europe agglutinates Norway and Denmark operations.
