Maine seafood supplier Bristol Seafood has announced it has appointed Briana Warner as its new Vice President for marketing and strategy.

The Portland-based business, which is a certified B-corp and focuses on distributing sustainable seafood, has developed a range of consumer products, which the company says are available in over 3,800 retail outlets across the U.S.

In a press release announcing the appointment, Senior VP for marketing Iréne Moon highlighted Bristol Seafood's recent innovations in consumer products, and said she was "excited to have Brianna, a true driver of innovation and sustainability, join the company to support our continued growth and innovation in this space."

Warner recently stepped down from her role as CEO of Maine seaweed firm Atlantic Sea Farms, which she founded in 2018, and which since grew to become the largest seaweed producer in the United States through its partnerships with kelp farmers, developing a wide range of seaweed products distributed to over 4,000 retailers.

In a LinkedIn post confirming her new role and indicating that she would begin work at Bristol Seafood in April this year, Warner said she was "excited for my next adventure with the incredible team at Bristol Seafood", and praised the company's efforts "to make the seafood space more innovative, sustainable (for people and planet), and accessible".
