Aquaculture RAS technology supplier Nofitech has won a new contract for a post-smolt facility from Atlantic salmon smolt producer, Hardingsmolt, the company has announced.

"We are proud to have signed a new contract with Hardingsmolt, and are looking forward to start building their new postsmolt module," wrote Nofitech CEO Robert Hundstad in a LinkedIn announcement.

"We are excited to continue our excellent cooperation with Hardingsmolt," he added.

According to the Nofitech website, the company's ModulRas Postsmolt is an independent unit for the production of post-smolt of up to 1 kg. The module consists of four fish tanks with a common water treatment system, which can be split into two areas to enable use of two different water qualities.

Nofitech also recently won a major contract with Great Northern Salmon (formerly Katahdin Salmon), becoming the RAS vendor for its facilities in Maine, and recently delivered a new post-smolt facility for Mowi in Åkrafjorden in the municipality of Etne, southern Norway.
