BioSeize stands out for its gentle handling process, which preserves product quality.
ELDI Aqua
Rotor Systems and the technology company ELDI Aqua have formed a business alliance to create Rotor Aqua, which will develop, industrialize, and commercialize new solutions in process technology and digitalization for the aquaculture industry.
This synergy will make it possible to combine Rotor Systems' services and development environment in process technology, automation, and digitalization with ELDI Aqua's experience in aquaculture operational activities.
Over the past two years, both companies have worked closely together to develop a product line for sludge management in aquaculture—BioSeize—which is already commercially available in the market.
A distinctive feature of BioSeize is its gentle handling process, which preserves the quality of the final product. This, in turn, enhances the value of the collected sludge while meeting increasingly stringent requirements for documentation, biosecurity, and sustainability.
"The past two years have demonstrated that this collaboration delivers real value to customers, and together in Rotor Aqua we have a much stronger foundation for further growth," said Eskil Hansen, CEO of Rotor Systems, and Thomas Myrvold, CEO of ELDI Group.
ELDI was formed through the merger of three subsidiaries of the Icelandic manufacturing group Hampidjan hf: Vónin Aquaculture, Mørenot Aquaculture, and Fiizk Protection. This restructuring established one of the most comprehensive providers of aquaculture services and technology in the sector.
