AKVA group has appointed Kristian Botnen as his new COO of Sea Based Nordic. He will be part of AKVA group's corporate management team and start in August.
Before, he was both CEO and COO in Lingalaks. He studied business and management in BI Bergen (Norway) and has an MSc Executive Master of Management.
Regarding his appointment, Botnen said: "I can't wait to join the AKVA group. The company develops technology and solutions that bring the industry forward, and they have interesting plans for the future. It will be exciting to meet new colleagues and contribute to further growth."
Finally, the CEO of the group, Knut Nesse, noted: "This is an exciting new hire for AKVA group. Kristian has a unique experience in farming. He knows the subject, the industry, and the AKVA group.
"I am sure he will bring us a lot of valuable knowledge and drive us forward. I look forward to having him on the team," he added.
