Javier Campo is the new president of AECOC after the departure of Ignacio González

The Board of Directors of AECOC has appointed, following the departure of Ignacio González from Nueva Pescanova, Javier Campo as president.

The Board of Directors of AECOC, the Spanish Association of Manufacturers and Distributors and the leading business reference body, has appointed, following the departure of Ignacio González from Nueva Pescanova, Javier Campo, the hitherto vice-chairman of the entity, as its president.

Thus, Campo assumed the position of Ignacio González approximately one month after González made public his departure from Nueva Pescanova in the pursuit of "new adventures."

The Board of Directors thanked Ignacio González for his magnificent work. Specifically for his work in the association "in a complex scenario and marked by the impact that the current inflationary scenario, which has had the sector and the set of companies associated with AECOC."

For his part, Javier Campo assumes the position of work to do. On the one hand, about closing the strategic plan that concludes this year. On the other hand, to implement a new strategy that will define the main lines of work of the organization for the next three years.

The new president has indicated that he takes on this challenge "with a great sense of responsibility" and with the conviction that the solid foundations laid by his predecessor will enable the organization "to continue helping member companies."
