Aquaculture UK is held from 14-15 May in Aviemore, Scotland, and will host over 200 exhibitors worldwide with various products, services, and advice for fish farmers, farm managers, and aquaculture business professionals.
The 2024 edition includes conference programs, breakfast meetings, and outside exhibits. As a new addition to the program, it will introduce an innovation theatre aimed to show the latest technology that is shaping the industry.
Attendants will enjoy the main updates in farm infrastructure, predator netting, feeding systems, and humane harvesting. Furthermore, they will be able to interact and discuss with business and other aquaculture agents.
In more detail, organizers have confirmed that this year's topics will consist of sustainability and innovation in aquaculture, gene editing, and energy consumption.
Moreover, the Young Aquaculture Society (YAS) has confirmed that it will partner with Scale AQ and Inverlussa in Aviemore in support of the UK maritime charity, the Royal National Lifeboat Association. YAS will also hold its formal launch event during the trade show on 14 May.
Finally, about to kick off the event, Aquaculture UK Portfolio Director, Cheri Arvonio, said: "The two-year wait is nearly over! We all get to reunite in Aviemore for your community gathering. I invite you all to explore the incredible range of businesses on our show floor, gain valuable insight, forge new connections, and celebrate the achievements of this innovative and special industry."
