Label Rouge established a food or farmed product as a high quality one under a strict set of standards. Leading importers and processors from Boulogne Sur Mer and Rungis Marketplace will visit Scotland this weekend to mark the 30th anniversary.

The visit will include one of the Scottish Salmon Company's Loch Fyne sea farms tour and the Johnnie Walker Experience in Edinburgh. They also will attend the 'Scotland v France' Six Nations rugby match at Murrayfield. Throughout 2022, there will be further celebrations.

Scottish salmon was both the first fish and first non-French product to be awarded by the French authorities. Besides, France is the top export destination for Scottish salmon and its market has flourished in recent years.
