RASTECH 2022 is an international technical conference and trade show serving owners and operators of Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS). The event is taking place March 30-31 at the Westin Hilton Head in South Carolina.
A total of 300 professionals from the RAS industry will attend. Among them are fish farmers, producers, and operators of RAS, fish hatchery professionals, engineers, contractors and consultants, research and university professionals, and, investors in RAS.
Annex Business Media, conference host and "RAStech, Hatchery International and Aquaculture North America" publisher, postponed the 2021 conference to March 2022 to ensure the health and safety of staff, attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors.
During the event, Megan Sorby from the Kingfish Company, Erik Heim from Nordic Aquafarms, and Justin Henry from West Coast Salmon will discuss current RAS projects. In addition, Freshwater Institute will present its latest RAS research and engineering innovations.
Further, there will be a technology session chaired by the President of the Aquaculture Engineering Society (AES). And finally, other presenters including RAS veterans and consultants like Yonathan Zohar and John Holder, plus Joe Cardenas from AquaCo will share his advice for new RAS start-ups.
