Antonios Chalaris is the Aqua Business Development Manager of Devenish

Dr. Antonios Chalaris is the new Aqua Business Development Manager at Devenish. With this, the company adds one more member to its international aqua division team.

In this position, Chalaris will lead efforts to drive sales and build connections with both new and current customers in the water division. He will have the backing of Devenish's well-established international and technical teams to accomplish these objectives.

Chalaris has accumulated over 13 years of experience in the UK and internationally. Throughout his professional journey, he has been involved in various parts of the industry. Among them are the commercial and research aquaculture, as well as contributing to fish hatcheries and feed production.

Furthermore, he is also a board member of the European Aquaculture Society (EAS) and a member of the Geotechnical Chamber of Greece (GEOTEE).

Ian Atterbury, the Managing Director of Devenish International, explained that this industry is the future. "Aquaculture is the fastest-growing food system in the world, and with the global population rapidly increasing, the need for nutritious and sustainably produced food is greater than ever. It represents a huge opportunity for Devenish as we have several core technologies and products that can be adapted for the aquaculture market."
