The Peruvian company Océano Seafood, based in Lima, has acquired the entire company Sea Fresh USA, located in Kingston, Rhode Island, marking its first investment in North America.
According to Antarctica Advisors, which acted as their investment banking advisor during the sale process, this was a success. Moreover, with this acquisition, Océano Seafood will be able to expand its international presence and enhance its ability to source seafood products in the United States.
James Fox, the owner of Sea Fresh USA, explained, "Océano has been our customer for several years, and we are excited to be their first acquisition in the American market." With this move, the company, known for its fresh and frozen squid products distributed through retail and food service, is advancing into a new phase.
