Blue Food Innovation Summit: Building Resilient Aquatic Systems for Food Security and Climate Action.
This year's Blue Food Innovation Summit, a top-tier event dedicated to advancing sustainable aquaculture and ocean regeneration, will kick off tomorrow in London.
Taking place on April 8-9 2025, the summit connects a network of over 250 aquaculture and blue food specialists and investors.
This year's edition focuses on "Building Resilient Aquatic Systems for Food Security and Climate Action", and brings together top voices from aquaculture, technology, policy, investment, and retail, with the aim of boosting innovation, partnerships, and scalable impact across the blue food sector.
Attendees will explore cutting-edge topics such as AI-powered aquaculture, low-carbon aquafeeds, preventative aquatic health, and regenerative ocean practices, with a strong emphasis on climate-resilient production and biodiversity restoration. Other key themes include blue carbon markets, traceable seafood supply chains, and sustainable fisheries management.
A hallmark of the event is its focus on entrepreneurs and investment, and this year's summit will again feature daily pitch sessions, targeted networking, and a start-up exhibition, in addition to panel discussions and presentations featuring international industry leaders.
The summit kicks off with an opening panel discussion titled "Elevating Blue Food: Positioning the Industry as a Cornerstone of Food Security Strategy", featuring top names from UN Global Impact, the European Commission, the Aquaculture Stewardship Council, Cermaq Global and Mowi.
