Aquaculture data-driven solutions provider Wittaya International Inc. and Bangladesh-based Maverick Innovation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to commercialize feed ingredients and additives for warm-water aquaculture products.

This synergy, built on Wittaya’s expertise in data analytics, trial design, and precision nutrition, along with Maverick's regional knowledge and market access, in a hub for warm-water aquaculture and poultry farming, will help startups and established suppliers refine their techniques, comply with regulations, and adapt to the market.

"This partnership enhances our ability to serve clients in warm water aquaculture and poultry sectors, accelerating the development of effective, sustainable solutions that deliver real on-farm impact," Wittaya's LinkedIn post reads.

Moreover, Maverick shared on the same social network: "The collaboration focuses on technical support, market strategies, and capacity building through workshops and forums, fostering sustainability, animal welfare, and profitability in the global aquaculture and poultry sectors."

In July 2024, Wittaya confirmed its intentions to expand its reach in Asia by completing a successful seed funding round, raising $2.8 million (EUR 2.57m).
