Dutch fish supplier hires new Managing Director

The producer fish products AMfish has hired Pieter de Boer who will focus on the company's commercial activities.

In June 2024, Pieter de Boer will join the management of AMfish according to a statement published on the Dutch fresh and prepared fish producer website. Before, he worked in Dumeco/Vion, Seafood Parlevliet, Van de Raa Meat and More, and Paligroup.

Therefore, Pieter de Boer will focus on the company's commercial activities, while the current Managing Director, Frans Kegge, will mainly focus on general and financial matters.

Regarding his appointment, the new Managing Director expressed: "I am excited to join the AMfish team and look forward to contributing to the growth and development of the company."

On the other hand, Frans Kegge confirmed: "With Pieter on board, we are convinced that we can further strengthen our commercial activities and improve our position in the market. His experience and expertise will help us achieve our goals and successfully execute our growth strategy."

AMfish serves fish products to customers, including wholesalers, healthcare and catering markets, and the retail sector. Its products are developed, stewed, and grilled in the production kitchen.

It was created in 2019 from the merger between VisSpecialist Almelo and Vishandel van Meines. Both fishing companies have experience in food service.
