Equipment supplier Fluctus has signed a commercial agreement with the Chilean company ITG for the distribution of both company's products in Norway and Chile.

Fluctus has been developing and supplying feeding solutions since 1980. Its technology feeds the fish at depths where there are fewer sea lice, saves energy, and reduces the emissions of microplastic from the feeding pipes.

Regarding this partnership, Fluctus CEO Harald Lien expressed: "ITG is a company with good experience and solid relationships in the market. They have more than 20 years of experience delivering technology and service to the industry, both nationally and internationally, and we are sure that they will represent our products in a good way. They provide us with the local expertise and proximity needed to provide customers with the best solutions."

On the other hand, Claudio Chanceaulme, general manager of ITG Chile, expressed the importance of this deal to the Chilean market: "This agreement allows us to expand our offer of products and solutions that aim at sustainable production, consolidating us as a comprehensive supplier in the local industry and a versatile and reliable business partner."

In January, Fluctus announced a strategic partnership with Proximar Seafood for the supply of water-feeding systems to their land-based facility in Japan.
