Norwegian seafood advisory firm INAQ AS has named Nina Santi as its new CEO, the company has announced.
The outgoing manager, Frode Blakstad, who founded the seafood advisory company in 2002, will continue to play a key role as Executive Chairman of the company, INAQ said in a press release announcing Santi's appointment.
With over 20 years of professional experience in aquaculture, Santi brings a robust skill set to her new role. Her international exposure includes managing companies abroad and serving on boards in various countries, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the industry's global dynamics.
Santi, joined INAQ in November 2022, having spent 15 years at broodstock specialist AquaGen, where she held various roles, including a seven-year stint as the CEO. With a background in veterinary medicine and a Ph.D., Santi has also served as an associate professor in aquatic medicine at the Norwegian School of Veterinary Sciences.
Her educational portfolio also extends to technology management, having completed additional coursework at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and the BI Norwegian Business School.
