MiAlgae appoints Christopher Haacke as Commercial Director

Christopher Haacke has shared in his LinkedIn profile that he is starting a new position as Commercial Director at MiAlgae. Over the last two years, he was Director Of Business Development at Agronutris, a French biotech company specializing in rearing and transforming insects into proteins for animal nutrition.

Regarding his new adventure, Haacke shared the effort that MiAlgae makes to improve food security and reduce the impact of humanity on the planet. His new team focuses on recycling co-products from food and drink production to grow long-chain Omega-3-rich microalgae, returning clean water in the process.

"This truly innovative approach from a circular economy will help our pet food and aquaculture partners move towards their strategic aims of reducing their environmental impact, as well as contributing towards the responsible growth of these vital industries, by delivering healthy sustainably produced long-chain Omega-3 fatty acids, essential for both animal and human health," he explains.
