Nordic Halibut is beginning its search for a new Chief Financial Officer, after Thomas Scheele Berg has decided to step down from the position.

In an announcement on 3 December, the Norwegian halibut farming company said that Berg, a finance professional experienced in investment banking, had "decided to explore new professional opportunities".

Berg's appointment as CFO was announced in April 2024, and he formally began his role as CFO in August 2024, replacing previous CFO Kenneth Meyer.

Nordic Halibut said it "will explore short-term interim solutions that enables a seamless transition until a permanent CFO is appointed," adding that Berg "will support and co-lead the CFO function until the end of February".
