HavExpo (6 - 8 May, Bergen, Norway)

Billed as Norway's most exciting meeting place for the fisheries and aquaculture industry, HavExpo is a new 3-day international trade fair. Running over three days, the event is intended to showcase the marine industries in a quick and informative way, and will be accompanied by over 100 lectures and seminars.

Aquaculture UK (14-15 May, Aviemore, Scotland)

The annual trade event Aquaculture UK is the UK's largest aquaculture conference and exhibition, bringing together industry professionals to discuss advances in fish farming technology and sustainability practices.

Featuring an exhibition of more than 200 leading aquaculture suppliers, the event also includes a wide-ranging conference program as well as the coveted annual Aquaculture Awards, celebrating projects, businesses and individuals making an exceptional contribution to the global aquaculture community.

Seafood Expo Eurasia (15-17 May, Istanbul, Turkey)

A prominent trade event connecting seafood professionals from around the world, Seafood Expo Eurasia enables participants to explore new products and market trends, in addition to plenty of networking opportunities.

Aimed at bringing fresh thinking towards the world fisheries and seafood community, the exhibition will unite fishery, aquaculture, processing, shipbuilding, logistic & packaging companies - uniting participants from Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America within one place.

Blue Food Innovation Summit (21-22 May, London)

Taking place in central London, The Blue Food Innovation Summit focuses on sustainable innovations in the aquatic food sector, including alternative seafood and novel feed ingredients, bringing together a community of over 350 ocean and blue food pioneers.

This year's event features over 90 top-flight "blue economy" speakers, including Salmon Evolution CEO Trond Håkon Schaug-Pettersen, Aqua-Spark co-founder Amy Novogratz, Sustainable Shrimp Partnership Director Pamela Nath and The Kingfish Company founder Ohad Maiman.

European Maritime Day (30-31 May, Svendborg, Denmark)

The European Maritime Day (EMD).

The European Maritime Day (EMD) is the annual two-day event during which Europe’s maritime community meet to network, discuss and outline joint action on maritime affairs and sustainable blue economy.

This year's event features a large number of inspirational speakers, thematic sessions, stakeholder workshops and pitch sessions organised by stakeholders and the European Commission. The EMD targets professionals from businesses, governments, public institutions, NGOs and academia as well as EU citizens interested in the Sea.

The EMD 2024 is being organised by the European Commission, the Municipality of Svendborg and the Danish Maritime Authority. More information is available here.
