BioMar has presented its new product, SmartCare Endurance, which helps maintain fish immune function and overall health against infectious diseases, adverse environmental conditions, and oxidative stress.

"SmartCare Endurance provides farmers with a powerful tool to support fish health during environmental challenging periods," explained Torunn Forberg, BioMar Product Marketing Manager SmartCare.

The blend of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals in SmartCare Endurance helps fish better combat pathogens such as Piscirickettsia salmonis, the causative agent of SRS, and viral diseases like IPN and PD. After several trials in local settings, it will first be launched in Chile.

"SmartCare Endurance will offer producers a practical, science-driven, and cost-effective solution for fostering resilience and sustainability in aquaculture operations," added Gabriela Heim, Commercial Director of BioMar Chile.

SmartCare Endurance benefits

Fish fed with SmartCare Endurance have shown up to 70% higher survival rates when facing bacterial and viral pathogens.

Moreover, thanks to its free radical-neutralizing effect, the solution helps minimize tissue damage and lipid peroxidation during stressful events.

Finally, its advanced formula supports immune function and allows energy to be conserved for growth and recovery.

BioMar Group announced an impressive start to 2024, reporting a record first quarter with an EBITDA exceeding DKK 310 million (USD 44.6m / EUR 41.6m). This achievement marked the best opening quarter in the company's history.
