The supplier of aquaculture work vessels, Moen Marin, located in Trondheim and Rørvik, has acquired the Trøndelag-based company PMH Norway which has 16 employees with extensive expertise in mechanics, electricity, and technology.

PMH Norway offers advanced products for propulsion, dynamic positioning, maneuvering systems, hydraulic systems, and deck equipment for clients in sectors such as offshore, passenger transport, fishing, cargo, and aquaculture.

As a result, PMH Norway will become a subsidiary of Moen Marin, which will offer vessels with much more integrated and functional total solutions.

Regarding the acquisition, Moen Marin CEO Bernt Lilliestråle explained: "By incorporating the company into our portfolio, we see opportunities to continue developing complete products for our customers. Our customers are looking for robust solutions with few integrations, and with this, we further strengthen the good solutions we offer in our service and work vessels."

Furthermore, PMH Norway's CEO Kåre Vevik commented: "We are excited to have Moen Marin as owners. We will retain the name and many things will remain the same, but we have products that we want to continue developing and sell to both existing and new markets. Now we have the resources to carry this out and continue growing."

Moen Marin is part of ScaleAQ

Moen Marin belongs to ScaleAQ, which offers a wide range of solutions and services that contribute to the sustainable development of the Norwegian and international aquaculture industry. Additionally, the group also develops and sells software to provide more efficient and comprehensive services.

"For ScaleAQ, it is a pleasure to have PMH Norway on our team. The company has good products and solid expertise that fits perfectly with us," concluded ScaleAQ CEO Audun Fjeldvær.

ScaleAQ appointed a new CEO this past August. Sivertsen Fjeldvær leads this rapidly growing and advancing group with 900 employees in 33 locations across eight countries.
